Integrative Wellness Programs at Coastal
A Collaborative Wellness Resource
Extending your care into lifestyle & nutrition
Our Integrative Wellness Consultation program supports the community more deeply than in-store conversations allow. And for providers who choose to refer, our Wellness Pharmacist can work alongside your patients between visits, reinforcing your recommendations, filling in the lifestyle and nutrition gap, and reporting back to you.

“Our Wellness Pharmacist helps patients implement the lifestyle and nutrition changes that physicians often recommend but don’t have time to walk through in detail.”
Our Role
We do not diagnose or prescribe. We work alongside your care plan, offering nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement guidance only.
Documentation
We can send structured summaries, supplement lists, symptom tracking, and labs back to the referring provider.
What We’re Not
Not a replacement for medical care. Not a source of diagnosis. A complement to your practice.
Where We Fit
We extend your care, we don’t replace it
Integrative wellness consultations are a structured, clinical-adjacent program, not a supplement-store upsell or a generic health-coaching app. Every patient we see is working with a primary provider, and we coordinate around that relationship.
Between-Visit Reinforcement
We have the time to walk patients through the recommendations you’ve already made; step by step, with accountability and follow-through.
Supplement & Medication Review
Patients often take 8–12 supplements you don’t know about. We conduct a full review and can send a structured summary to the provider on file.
Lab Education,
Not Interpretation
We help patients understand what their labs mean in the context of lifestyle. We don’t diagnose or treat; we educate and refer back as appropriate.
Structured Documentation Back to You
Options include medication and supplement lists with interaction and counterindication flags, lab results, patient health goals/program details, and program conclusion summaries.
Pre- & Post-Visit Preparation
We help patients organize symptoms, clarify goals, and summarize what they’re taking, so your appointments start with better information.
Pharmacist-Level Clinical Lens
Unlike a general health coach, Katie brings a clinical pharmacist’s understanding of medications, interactions, and contraindications to every visit.
Common Clinical Gaps
Where we fill in the gaps for your patients
These are the recurring situations where our program adds the most value alongside primary and specialty care.
The Challenge
Limited appointment time for lifestyle guidance
The average primary care visit is 10–15 minutes. There’s rarely time to walk a patient through a meal plan, supplement strategy, or habit-change protocol — even when it’s exactly what they need.
How We Help
30–60 minute structured wellness visits
- Nutrition guidance and personalized meal planning
- Supplement education and interaction review
- Lifestyle and habit coaching
- Symptom tracking and structured follow-up
The Challenge
Patients taking OTC products that you’re unaware of
Many patients are self-managing with OTC medications, herbs, and supplements, often in combination with prescription medications. These important elements rarely surface on an intake form or during an office visit.
How We Help
Complete medication and supplement reconciliation
- Full review of prescription medications, OTC, and supplements
- Interaction, duplication, and contraindication checks
- Recommend further discussion with prescribers for items of concern
- Written summary sent to your office if requested
The Challenge
Patients seeking deeper lab contexts
Patients often want to understand what’s behind their “low/normal/high” results: micronutrient markers, ferritin, thyroid patterns, metabolic indicators. These conversations take time that isn’t available in most visits.
How We Help
Lab education in a lifestyle context
- Patient education on: micronutrients, ferritin, thyroid markers, metabolic and hormone testing
- Lifestyle factors that affect specific markers
- Clear referral back to the provider for clinical decision-making
We educate patients on their results. We do not diagnose or recommend changes to their medical care.
The Challenge
“Normal” labs, but something’s off
Chronic fatigue, digestive complaints, perimenopause symptoms, and sleep disruption – conditions where providers often sense something is wrong but lab work doesn’t explain it.
How We Help
Root-cause lifestyle investigation
- Systematic review of: sleep, nutrition gaps, micronutrient status, gut health, stress load, blood sugar patterns
- Structured findings report available to the provider
- Referral back for any clinical findings warranting follow-up
The Challenge
Patients on GLP-1s or post–weight-loss without a nutrition plan
Medication alone doesn’t build the habits that sustain results. Patients who have lost weight often lack a sustainable plan for what comes next.
How We Help
Nutrition and lifestyle implementation
- Personalized meal plans and recipe guidance
- Habit formation coaching with accountability check-ins
- Especially effective for: insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, perimenopause, GI conditions, fatigue
The Challenge
No structured symptom tracking between visits
Patients may not reliably report back on fatigue, digestion, mood, or hormonal symptoms, and providers rarely receive organized longitudinal data between appointments.
How We Help
Ongoing symptom monitoring and summary
- Structured tracking of: fatigue, digestion, sleep, mood, hormone symptoms, blood sugar patterns
- Summary report available to the provider at any point
- Helps patients articulate their experience more clearly at their next visit
