Cream Bases (Inactive Ingredients)

Where medication is the active ingredient in a formulation, bases comprise the main inactive ingredient. We offer a variety of base options to address specific needs. We’ll work with your prescriber to determine the best fit based on your preferences; sensitivities; and the properties of the medication, because not all bases are compatible with all active ingredients.

VersaPro

VersaPro Cream is designed to carry active ingredients for topical, vaginal, and rectal therapies including pain management, wound care, and hormone replacement. It is dermatologist tested, non-greasy, and contains Aloe Vera and Vitamin E for all-day moisturizing. It is noncomedogenic and hypoallergenic, free of parabens, MI/MCI, mineral oil, GMOs, fragrances, and petrolatum.  

VersaBase

VersaBase Cream is an elegant, yet durable, topical cream and an ideal base for topical and vaginal hormone replacement therapy (HRT). It simulates the natural moisturizing barrier of the skin and rubs in quickly, leaving a soft and silky feel. It is odor-free, nonirritating, noncomedogenic, and hypoallergenic. This base does not contain oils, parabens, propylene glycol, or petrolatum.

Ellage

Designed specifically for vaginal applications Ellage is elegant, gentle, and nonirritating which provides a pleasant experience for patients. It is free of wheat, milk, egg, soy, gluten, fish and shellfish, peanut, almond, pecan, macadamia, walnut, and hazelnut.

Phytobase

Phytobase is a light, natural cream that contains Vitamin E and plant-derived oil bodies known as phytosomes, which give Phytobase its unique antioxidant and skin-moisturizing properties. Appropriate for topical and vaginal use, this product is free of fragrances, dyes, parabens, mineral oil, SLS, propylene glycol and 1,4-dioxane is greatly preserved.

Lipoderm

Lipoderm is a smooth, non-sticky topical cream which is shown to quickly absorb and deliver active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) through the skin. It is free of egg, fish, milk, gluten, almond, hazelnut, macadamia, peanut, pecan, and walnut. It is an idea vehicle of delivering creams for treating topical pain.

Perme8 Gel

A silky, smooth texture that spreads easily without leaving any oily or tacky residue. Like Lipoderm, Perme8 is a great vehicle for use in topical pain management.

VersaPro A-Cream

VersaPro A-Cream is unique gel/cream for topical and transdermal applications. A combination of silicone and natural oils creates a unique sensory experience with a soft, moisturized feel. It is hypoallergenic and free of mineral oil, alcohol, petrolatum, and parabens. VersaPro A-Cream is versatile for use in complex HRT formulas.

Atrevis Gel

Atrevis Gel is specially formulated for male testosterone replacement, absorbing quickly though the skin without leaving a greasy residue. It is non-comedogenic and free of alcohol, parabens, and mineral oil.
