Cassi Brooks, Owner

Cassi has over three decades of pharmacy experience, with over two of those decades in pharmaceutical compounding. Prior to owning Coastal, she was the Operations Manager for Apothecary by Design where she established efficient and effective operations within the compounding labs. This entailed the creation and implementation of extensive policies and procedures. With those procedures in place, she elevated their compounding to the next level and lead the team to two compounding lab accreditations. At that time, ABD was the only pharmacy in Maine to earn this type of status.

When Cassi learned ABD was going to sell its Marginal Way operations, she led the charge to purchase their compounding and wellness divisions to form Coastal Pharmacy & Wellness. Cassi continues to lead our operations today. You’ll find her working in every corner of the store, from helping customers and staff to taking out the trash. The woman is everywhere.

When not at Coastal, you’ll find her hiking, biking, gardening, or dining at one of Portland’s many incredible restaurants.
