After the birth of her daughter in 2005, Tricia became interested in pursuing additional education in lactation.  While pregnant with her son, she received her certificate for lactation counseling through the Academy of Lactation Policy & Practice in 2008.  In 2015, Tricia relocated back to Maine after living in Tucson, Arizona,  where she worked at a feeding practice, Mealtime Connections with Marsha Dunn Klein ME.d OTR/L, FAOTA.

With her colleagues, she developed a community class:   “Baby’s First Taste”  introduction of solids to infants.  In addition, Tricia has attended several trainings in breastfeeding medicine, feeding therapy and premature infants.  Further, she has experience with tongue-tie and lip ties and works with families and babies post revision.  She is a guest speaker at the “Mothering Circle” and co-facilitates the monthly “New Mom Discussion” series at Coastal Pharmacy & Wellness.

Tricia is enthusiastic about whole nutritious foods and enjoys finding ways to incorporate those foods into fun and healthy mealtimes for infants & young children.  Her approach is family-centered from a sensory-motor perspective addressing the needs of the families’ priorities.
