Green Power Smoothie Recipe

A quick and easy way to incorporate more fruits and veggies into your diet.

And it tastes great too!

Ingredients

1 ripe banana, peeled
1 cup baby spinach leaves
½ cup watercress
1 cup grated carrots
½ cup 100% fruit juice (apple juice works great)
¼ cup silken tofu (optional)
2-4 ice cubes

Method

Break banana into small pieces and place in a blender with all other ingredients. Secure lid and blend until smooth.  If using a hand held blender place all ingredients in a large glass (16 oz or larger), immerse blender into ingredients and blend until smooth. Divide smoothies between two glasses and serve immediately.
